Travel Q&As

  • The best airport to fly into is Newark Airport (EWR), which is less than an hour away from the venue.

    We don’t recommend flying to LaGuardia or JFK (you’d have to drive through the city!), however Lehigh Valley is a good second option.

  • Since our venue is in the beautiful rural New Jersey (yes it exists……..) Uber prices might rack up. If you plan to stay the weekend, we highly recommend renting a car! An Uber ride from Newark to Stanhope, NJ could be anywhere from 75 to 100+ dollars.

  • We’ll have a shuttle running from the venue back to the Holiday Inn Budd Lake at the end of the night, so everyone can celebrate safely! 🎉
    However, there won’t be a shuttle to the venue beforehand, so please plan to drive or carpool over. It's only about a 5-minute drive from the hotel!

  • Absolutely! Check out our “Things To Do” page to explore our favorite activities. Feel free to reach out and ask for any recommendations! Our favorite towns to explore are Chester, Morristown, and of course, Long Valley.

  • We’ve included some hotels below that are near the venue! We’ve blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn in Budd Lake, which is where we’ll have transportation to and from. Feel free to explore the options and make this a fun getaway!

    If you prefer Airbnb or Vrbo, we suggest to look along Lake Hopatcong for scenic spots close to Waterloo Village.

Once the reception wraps up a shuttle will be taking everyone from the venue to the Holiday Inn for the after party!
